2. How much does shipping cost? 

A: Shipping for the average order costs around $15-$25. There are two main factors that determine the cost: weight and distance. To calculate your exact cost, click on the Shipping Calculator found in your shopping cart. 

3. Are your products high quality?

A: All of the products that we sell have been searched out and taste tested to ensure that they are the top of the line in both quality and taste. Each product has information in regards to the quality on the individual product pages.

4. Are your animals grass-fed/free-range?

A: All of the beef products found in the organic section of our site are grass-fed, grain finished, free-ranging animals. All poultry products found in our organic section are cage-free organic poultry. To visit the organic section, please click here.

5. To Which Countries do you ship?

A: We ship anywhere in the U.S.A & Canada. Any products sent to Canada will be shipped via Worldwide Expedited (2nd Day Air) or Worldwide Express (Overnight) to ensure the quality of the products.

6. How do I find out when my order will arrive?

A: Once you have made a purchase you will get a confirmation email showing the exact day that your package will arrive. For general shipping information you may click here to visit our shipping page.

7. How do I make changes to my shopping cart?

A: Go to your shopping cart, and enter the quantity that you would like for each item (even if it is 0). Then, once you have selected you final quantities, press the red button reading “Update Shopping Cart”.

8. Do you send gift packages?

A: Yes we do sell gift packages. We have several packages on our site: http://thekosherexpress.com/kosher-meat-packages.html. Also, you may choose the option to select a note to be included in the order. You may also purchase a gift certificate for someone else.

9. What if my order is incorrect/damaged?

11. Is your product fresh or frozen?

A: We freeze all of our products immediately to ensure their quality. Once defrosted, it is virtually as fresh as the day it was processed. 

12. Why does this product not have a sell-by date?

A: USDA does not require a "Sell By Date" to be included on frozen meat or poultry items as it can stay at peak quality for several months. We track our entire inventory to ensure that every product is sold during this quality state.  

13. Why does it appear as though there are two charges on my card?

A: At the time of purchase we place a hold on your credit card for the estimated cost of your order. Upon shipping, we void the initial hold, and we charge a final amount to your card based upon the actual weight(s) of the item(s) shipped.

It takes roughly one full business day for the hold to void, as well as for the final charge to settle. Although, you may see the final charge online before it actually settles, it will not be taken out of your bank account until after the hold voids.
