Our Mission Statement: “The Kosher Express is a vehicle of change; driving the Kosher experience into the next generation and bringing communities together with the highest quality of Glatt kosher food—directly to your door.”

Our Philosophy: The Kosher Express is advancing its fundamental belief that any person, anywhere, should have access to the finest, strictly certified Glatt kosher food with the click of a button.  This is now a reality, as The Kosher Express launched in August of 2010, drawing upon the passion and vision of its president, Robert Bernton.

Our Founder: While attending Emory University, Robert succeeded in helping to create a kosher meal plan on campus. His philosophy was that kosher food is more than merely sustenance choice—it is a way of life.  Soon after its creation, students gathered from across the University each Tuesday and Thursday night to eat, shmooze, and have fun.  Sometimes talking for hours, students used this kosher meal plan as a vehicle to improve their lives on campus.

Our Vision: The Kosher Express hopes to create a similar experience by bringing delicious Glatt kosher food, amazing recipes, and enthralling discussions—directly to the consumer’s home.

Tzedakah: Apart from supplying exquisite kosher food, The Kosher Express embraces its philanthropic program called the Tzedek Express.  Through this program, The Kosher Express donates up to 10% of sales to participating synagogues, Jewish day schools, and non-profit organizations.

Kashruth: All products adhere to, and were prepared under, the strictest standards of Kashruth. Every product sold by The Kosher Express was certified Glatt kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU).

The Kosher Express is fulfilling its dream—taking kosher food and creating kehilah (community) everywhere.
